I recently Joined a new art challenge on Threadless to create mythological inspired characters which has inspired me to do a lot of folklore inspired art.
Mermaid ink drawing
Ink doodle of a mermaid elegantly swimming in the ocean currents
Digital mermaid drawing
A digital continuation of a recent mermaid drawing as of typing.
The dreaded manticore
Digital illustration of the dreaded manticore! A creature from Persian folklore. They're creatures said to have a human like face, needle like teeth, and a tail with venomous barbs that the creature could launch with great effect.
Fiery Ink and watercolour of a dragon
Watercolour and ink illustration depicting a savage looking dragon wreathed in fire and power!
Fae queen portrait
Ghostly portrait I did depicting some kind of magical fae noble being regal and mysterious
Sleepy lizard
Why do dragons guard gold? Sometimes I wonder if it's because they're so tough chunks of jagged metal just doesn't effect them. Or, they're trying to protect humans from the dangers of inflation?
